Privacy and enquiries.

How DKS Digital handles information when you visit this website or get in touch.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

What we collect

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, optional business name and website, the service you are interested in and your message. The form also records your acknowledgement of this notice. Please only include information needed for your enquiry, and do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.

Providing your name, email and message is necessary to use the form so we can understand and reply to your request. You can use the contact page to get in touch.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your message, review a website you have asked us to look at, discuss requirements and prepare a quote. Where you ask about commissioning work for yourself, this is to take steps at your request before entering a contract. For other enquiries, including messages from someone representing a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to that request and managing the conversation.

We do not add enquirers to a marketing list, sell enquiry details or use them to make automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

The form sends your information to FormSubmit, which forwards it to our Gmail inbox. FormSubmit may show a spam check and process technical connection information.

This website is hosted by OpenAI through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting service handles page requests and technical information to operate and secure the site, and provides traffic statistics. See OpenAI's privacy information. There is no separate customer database built into this website.

International processing

These providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Google describes its transfer arrangements, including the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable, in its data transfer information.

FormSubmit's published privacy notice does not identify its processing countries or specific international transfer safeguards. Those details are still being checked. You can contact DKS Digital through the contact page with questions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to paid work are deleted from our inbox three months after our last contact. This is a manual cleanup, not an automatic expiry feature of the website. FormSubmit separately states that it keeps submission archives for 30 days.

If an enquiry becomes a project, we keep the information needed to deliver the agreed work and support. We review other correspondence when that work and support end and remove it when it is no longer needed. Relevant accounting and tax records are normally kept for six years, or longer where a legal requirement or an unresolved dispute requires it. This does not mean every enquiry is kept for six years.

Cookies and site statistics

We have not added advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts to this website, and the website code does not save form details in browser storage. The hosting, email and form providers may use their own logs, cookies and similar tools for operation, security, spam prevention and site statistics. Their privacy information is linked above.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy where that right applies. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or deal with a dispute.

Send requests through the contact page. We may need enough information to confirm we are responding to the right person. You can also complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if the way we handle enquiries or the services used by the website changes.
